Zafar Mahal  known as Jangli Mahal,  is the ruined summer palace of the last Mughal Emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar II who wished to be buried in the precincts of the Zafar Mahal and the famous Dargah of Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki.
