The Sun Dial

The Sun Dial sits in the middle of a large almost-circular garden. The space on which the gnomon stands is a stone-paved circle which is cordoned off on all sides by thick rope, so in effect, while you can watch (on a sunny day) the shadow, you cannot step inside. Near the Sun Dial are two signs which explain it all: the Sun Dial (which is made of brass) is 12.7 mt tall and 24.5 mt long. Also, the time shown by this sun dial is the solar time at Delhi.
